Regular treatment will reduce the chances of verminous arteritis and colic caused by strongylus vulgaris. This product is well suited to be the major medication in parasite control programs and is well suited to be a major component in a rotational program. Each weight marking on the syringe plunger will provide sufficient paste to treat 100kg of bodyweight. Make a ¼ turn to unlock the knurled ring and slide the knurled ring up the plunger shaft ensuring the side nearest the barrel is at the prescribed weight marking. Lock the knurled ring in place, by turning the ring another ¼. Remove the plastic cap from the tip of the nozzle. The Horses mouth should contain no feed. Insert the syringe in the horses’ mouth at the interdental space. Advance the plunger as far as it will go, depositing the medication at the base of the tongue.
